Phillipsburg v. Easton
These two high schools have been playing each other on Thanksgiving Day every year since 1906. In 1993 there wasn’t an overtime allowed and the game ended in a 7-7 tie. This Sunday Gatorade is sponsoring a replay of the ‘93 game, the two teams being made up of players from the ‘93 teams. They have been practicing for 2 months to get ready. The result is not going to be great football by any means, but just the thought of being able to strap it up and play one more game, against a high school rival with my buddies and high school coaches sends some chills down my spine.
